Stand for Something Voting Campaign

Creative Director | Designer

OBJECTIVE: Create an MVP (minimal viable product) non-partisan campaign to encourage and empower our anime fans to participate in the national voting narrative

DELIVERABLES: Campaign concept centered around self-expression.

Melissa Frennea, our in-house designer, illustrated 18 unique characters that showed a diverse representation of fans drawn in the anime style. Not only was the hope that fans could see themselves represented in the montage but also that it would highlight how rarely other races and ethnicities are shown in anime. We were fortunate to receive overwhelming support by fans when the art debuted so we created badges of each character with an “I Voted” sticker that fans could repost themselves.
